Sabbatical Programs

Program Description

Our Sabbatical Programs are designed for university professors to have the opportunity to learn about the Chinese language and culture and share it with their colleagues upon their return to their home country.

This is an excellent chance to learn about China as you take your break to write a book or do some valuable research, while making new friends.

Sabbatical Teaching Positions are open for a semester to one year. This program is suitable for professionals who are looking for a research exchange program as schools and universities in China are willing to lend their helping hand as you finish up on your research requirement.

Processing and Program Fees

Non-refundable application Fee of USD 100.
A one-time processing fee of USD 300.
Program Fee of USD 1000.

The fees are used to identify and select the appropriate host institutions and to construct or customize a program in cooperation with said institutions that meet your particular needs.
Program administration, orientation, curriculum development, housing, basic medical insurance and ongoing activities are covered as well. All Fees are due at the signing of your Education Contract.

Some institutions provide meals on campus during the weekdays; a conservative living allowance can also be provided depending on type of host institution, type of teaching arrangement program and qualification of applicant.
